ANZAC Writing

WALT retell the events of ANZAC day.
I learned that World War 1 started in 1914.
I achieved my goal because I put in more interesting words.
Next time I will make my story longer.
Here are some of my best sentences:
The New Zealanders team were the kiwis and the Australians were the diggers.

Cross country

We are learning to run 1.5k for cross country.

I learnt to run further so that I could run better for the cross country.

I completed my goal because I ran 6 laps around the school field.

I need to work on getting in the middle so it is easier.

T4 Maths- Multiplication

WALT: use maths equipment to show what a multiplication (times) equation looks like

Signs of Success
*I can say that x (times) means GROUPS OF or LOTS OF
*I can say how many lots of there are
*My equipment shows the correct number of groups
*I can skip count on the equipment to solve the problem
*I know that 3x5 looks different to 5x3 with equipment
